Salmon Unlimited of Wisconsin will be hosting "Salmon-a-Rama"! This action packed 9 day event starts 12:01am, Saturday July 10th and ends at 11:00am July 18th This premier Fishing Tournament reaches out to anyone fishing on Lake Michigan and is the LARGEST freshwater Tournament in the U.S. This event helps support our very own Lake Michigan Fishery, promotes community group involvement, and not to mention boosts tourism for South East Wisconsin.

Last year, we had well over one thousand participants enter the Tournament! With this troubled economy we feel it was a great success. In 2010 we are taking a whole new approach . Giving 100% focus to what we know best, Fishing Tournaments!!

Our prize structure in the past has consisted of donations and purchased goods to reward the fisherman for their success. This year we are taking it to a new level and going to a "Cash Payout" structure. This is what the fisherman asked for and we are going to oblige! Other Prize donations will be included into raffles to ensure that most of our participants and fans win!

First Place this year is a $10,000 cash prize (See official rules for details) to the largest fish caught by an individual fisherman! Cash prizes will be awarded to the top fisherman in 5 other catagories, Chinook & Coho Salmon, Brown, Rainbow & Lake Trout, and back this year the Perch division.
